Tab Race stores all information locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API. This includes:

  • Your tab activity history
  • Locked tab preferences
  • Usage statistics
  • Settings and preferences

This data never leaves your browser. We have no servers, no databases, no analytics, and no way to access your information.

Data Sharing

We do not share any data because we do not have access to any data. There is nothing to share.

Third Parties

Tab Race does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

Permissions

Tab Race requests the following Chrome permissions:

  • tabs — To read tab titles, URLs, and favicons for display in the extension
  • storage — To save your preferences and statistics locally on your device
  • sidePanel — To display the extension in Chrome's sidebar

These permissions are used solely to provide the extension's functionality. No data from these permissions is transmitted anywhere.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. But honestly, our policy is "we don't collect data" and that's not going to change.
